Highly advanced level book, but quite practical with some very good ideas like a dynamic-duck-typed implementation of a recursive XML parser. Plenty of excellent guidelines on things to check for in your code base: data encapsulation. Great advanced but practical overview of Threading/Async, Parallel LINQ. Again, lots of things to check for and review with high level but inexperienced students like Mutable structures, Value/Reference types pitfalls, overloading base types( a nono). Only downside for me is I usually solve the problems addressed individually by this book by having a good class design in the first place, and that's hard to teach, but this will give you a starting point for 'the red marker'. A couple of things I never would think to do, like pass an anonymous type into a generic function will kind of blow your mind. Or use dynamic to coerce a Contravariant structure into what is supposed to be an implicit conversion operator.
