Once you get past the learning curve, this is a great, fun game. Only played it with two people but it is a lot of fun and well-suited for two (many games are not good for just two players). Best to watch some online reviews of the game to jump-start the learning curve. Trying to explain the game to someone is also pretty difficult. Best to jump in and start playing once one person has taken the time to familiarize there-self with the game. My wife and I got the hang of it after a couple of quick hands.

Love this game, my friend bought it and i played it and loved it so i had to get it myself so i bought it for my husband and i to play. It is really great 2-4 player game and fantastic for just 2 people

Very fun game! Easy to learn. My 10 year old son plays as well and we all have fun.

Even though the rules are rather badly written, the game is brilliant. I heartily recommend this to everyone who is not afraid to try something different from traditional card games.

This is a kind of rummy, so you have to match some cards, in this case, evidences of Jack crimes. It's a great game, but it works only with 2 players. I love the art as well: it reminds me From Hell, graphic novel by Alan Moore and Eddie Campbell.

I've been reloading since the 1980s. I bought this book out of curiosity. I'm glad that I did so.The author has noted repeatedly that this is a text for "novices". Most of the advice is aimed at beginners. Repeated advice on over pressure. The importance of moderate loads over "maximal velocity" because hitting what you're aiming at is better than a high chronograph value. This confirms my own experience with loads.Some of it was novel to me. I learned a few pointers; locating potential case ruptures using a common tool for example. Neck sizing tips. A lot of time on crimping, where and how it's useful and the potential pitfalls.There is a section devoted to reloading shotgun shells. I've never done, I do little shotgun shooting, so this so this was interesting reading.There is a lot of common sense in this book. Worth anyone's time or dime.

This book is a brief survey of handloading for Rifle. Pistol and Shotshell. It is a good book for the individual that knows nothing about the subject and wants to get a good idea of what is involved in the hobby. Safety, basic gear and generalized procedures are presented to accomplish your goals. The general thrust of the narrative is handloading on a budget. Nothing wrong with any of this as long as this is your goal. And if this is your goal, the easy to read text in this book will give you an good idea of what to expect.If you have been handloading for a few months at least then there isn't a whole lot there that you don't already know. It is true that the beginner in the hobby is faced with a bewildering array of options and decisions to make. Especially if your the lone wolf type with no mentor to guide you. So you can make mistakes and buy unnecessary things. This book might help you avoid doing that. The author stresses safety and organizational skills, both are very important when handloading ammo.Personally I would not rely on this as your only "how to" and you certainly should have one of the many handloading manuals on your shelf, but it serves, as mentioned, as a beginners intro into this wonderful hobby.

As a beginner's guide this lives up to its title. It is easy to read and gives enough information that you feel confident in starting out. I bought this book before purchasing any gear for reloading. I had helped a friend reload years ago so I was somewhat familiar with the process. I liked the focus on safety, you are essentially working with explosives. It is probably the most important lesson to learn.The book is organized and illustrated well and the writing is clear. I would suggest this book to anyone starting out with reloading pistol and rifle cartridges.

It has been over 20yrs since I did any reloading. At the time I was reloading with friends. I used my own basic equipment but their manuals. I have since wanted to begin reloading again, I used this book as a very basic refresher on all of the necessary steps to reload cartridges. I downloaded the the Kindle book and highlighted many of the safety items identified by the author. I also transferred those safety tips to my own notebook. Again, this is a very basic book that highlights for the beginner all of the steps of reloading metallic cartridges as well as a section covering shot shell reloading. I have since ordered the Modern Reloading (Second Ed.) by, Richard Lee as well as the Lyman Shotshell Reloading Handbook (5th Ed.). I look forward to reading and using these books as reference material. If you are just entering the world of reloading or coming back after a long break this book is well worth the short time it takes to read. Enjoy.

If you are new to reloading this is the best book on reloading you will find. It does not have tables, rather it simply, but exhaustively, takes you through the reloading process. Read it and keep it on your bench and you will have the definitive guide on how to safely reload pistol and rifle cartridges. It will show you how to operate various reloading presses, what the various dies are for, the correct order to use them for safe and efficient reloading and a host of little how-to tips to make the process go safer, faster and cheaper. If you haven't bought your reloading press yet buy this book first, it will also help you decide what gear to buy for your needs and in what order to acquire it.

I am 100% without a doubt, can not be disputed noob (novice) when it comes to reloading. How-ever, having seen a great price on Amazon for a Hornady LNL... well lets say my basement shop just got more crowded.I have not reloaded yet. Still acquiring the little bits and pieces (there are many do-dads to buy). This book helped a lot with some decisions. It's a pretty quick read, I crushed it while listening to an episode of Justified if that gives you a time to finish example.After reading it I kinda wished I had bought a single stage kit first. But instead I will buy one and practice on that before going high volume on my progressive. If you can not afford both styles of reloading, maybe read this first then decide what you really "need". You may be shocked to know that most people push the super fancy expensive progressive presses when you probably don't need them.... shocking I know!I would not consider it a reference as such. I'm not sure I'll refer to it again but for friend that showed an interest I will loan it to them for sure. In that case the cost for the book is about right.The info in here seems up to date as of 2015. Again based on my recent research, not experience.I'd like to give a nod to the author for writing in a plain and educational way. I never felt like he was trying to prove his vast experience etc... NO one likes a know it all and reading a book by one is the suck. So good job Mr. Gregersen. I will have to look into your other offerings soon!

I last read Thucydides’s History of the Peloponnesian War while working on my masters over a decade ago. Going though it in less than a week only gave a surface appreciation of one of the West’s most important histories. In the years since, I have always wanted to go reread it but never quite found the time – there have always been newer books to read. A shame – and a little embarrassing.I recently picked up How to Think About War: An Ancient Guide to Foreign Policy – an imprint from Princeton. It doesn’t present all of the Thucydides’ landmark history but rather a selection of the most famous speeches organized by topic along with an overview of the geopolitical landscape they took place in. The book contains seven speeches around such topics as Justifying a War; Realpolik and Launching a Foreign Invasion. Each speech has a new translation. Reading through them gave me fond memories of studying for my masters and a greater appreciation of the timeless issues that still affect international relations today. The selection of speeches is impressive in a fairly small book and the new translations seem to have made them even more accessible. This book isn’t a replacement for the Landmark Thucydides – which is still the gold standard but rather an excellent companion.Princeton has published other additional books under its Ancient Wisdom for Modern Readers including How to Be A Friend: An Ancient Guide to True Friendship by Cicero. I plan on picking up some of the other books in the series.I was skeptical but optimistic when I began How To Think About War. Too many recent international relations books are covering the current political climate and come off as screeds. How to Think About War avoids that trap and offers something that will be on my work bookshelf for decades. Highly Recommended.

I just dropped a lot of money for many Quickstudy Guides, so that I could learn all the body systems in great detail.Unfortunately, without realizing, I clicked from page to page as the options were being shown thinking I was buying all the big cards that are greatly detailed.I was disappointed to find that because there is no paper size posted in the details section. I bought some big cards 8.5"x11" and some were this size 4"x6" this truly does make a big difference because it DOES NOT INCLUDE: Ileocecalsphincter and Appendix, Rectum, Mouth and Salivary Glands, nor Permanent Teeth. So, it it inconclusive and will not give you the detail you want but it is small (but to big for your pocket).What you want is ISBN: 1572225254Considering that they have been publishing the other one since 2001, you would think that they would at least let you know that they are not giving you a comprehensive guide.

During now a couple of years I have been buying many of these Quick Study side cards, normally in the connection to the actual health and doctor books which I reading, but all of the previous of these have been having the height of the 11.5 inch, and sold with the holes for fitting into a 3 ring rinds.So this time when I ordered the Quick Study Digestive System, in the connection to a book a about Rectum Cancer, I automatically, as always, thought that it would be having the same size, as all the other, and as earlier did not read about its dimension, so I got highly surprised when receiving it.As for all of the other Quick Study the drawings are really good, and besides it’s very practically with sides covered by plastic. But it too small, so it’s only a question of time before it will disappear.

Like other reviewers, I didn't realize that this was an index card sized guide. In the heading, it is called a "pamphlet" just like the larger guides are. I bought almost all the guides I could find, for my own reference as well as for my child to supplement my child's education. I am not in the medical field, so the amount of info on the card is more than sufficient for my uses. I just would have liked it to be full sized so I can put them all together in folder.

This is a great reference material to quickly catch up on some info. It helped me pass my TEAS and get in to a Nursing program.
